English didn’t just give me a skill. It gave me a voice—and a path.
Many people ask me: Why do you teach English?
The answer is simple—and also deeply personal. Because I know what it feels like to not understand. Because I’ve felt the frustration of knowing what I want to say—but not having the words. Because I remember the fear of speaking up, of sounding wrong, of being misunderstood.
But more than anything—because I also know the joy of finally being able to say what you mean. To tell your story. To connect.
Learning a Language Changed My Life
I didn’t grow up speaking English. I learned it later, as a teenager. And like many of my clients today, I started with doubt. I felt behind. I made mistakes. A lot of them.
But step by step, word by word, something changed. I stopped aiming for perfection. I started aiming for real.
And that’s what I want to give my clients: the confidence to be real. The tools to communicate clearly, purposefully, and with heart.
Teaching Is More Than Grammar and Vocabulary
Of course, I teach grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. That matters. But what I really teach is:
That’s why I created English-On Purpose. Because learning English is not just about speaking better. It’s about living better.
What My Clients Have Taught Me
Every client I’ve worked with has reminded me of something important:
Some days, we talk about emotions. Some days, about food. Some days, about visas, interviews, and immigration.
Every conversation matters. Every voice counts.
If You’re Still Learning, You’re Not Alone
If you’re reading this and still struggling with English—keep going. You’re not late. You’re not behind. You’re just on your way.
You don’t need to wait until your English is “perfect” to speak. You need space to grow. With guidance. With support. With purpose.
That’s what we do here.
